Aye....one of the best lessons I taught my son and daughter years back....

They are 18 and 22 years of age now and still remind me of that early internet lesson from time to time :sunny:

Part of it is the natural tendency to look at every thread, but only reply to ones in which the viewer feels he can actually contribute something. I rarely greet people on this particular forum because 95% of the people who introduce themselves here do so because Neal requested it, and they never post again. I responded this time only to tell Nicole about the avatars available.

Also a lot of the people who look at any given thread are lurkers who haven't even joined Subsim themselves.

So now you know the horrible truth about me. :O:

Jim's real name is Dave, he's 22 and lives in Edinburgh. Or is it Fred, 47, from Deal? Or... oh I see where you were going with this! :O:

Next he'll be saying he's not a fan of the old Chicken Bhuna, and that instead it's some obscure reference to a fish. :hmmm:

I've met Jim, or somebody claiming to be him, and I can verify that the pictures he posts really are of him, or at least of the individual I met.
