Soviet K-3 submarine corresponding to Project 627 or known in NATO code as November class in an image of 2015. It remained inactive from its discharge in 1988 until 2006 when it was decided to reconvert it into a museum ship after removing it the nuclear reactor.

Apparently in 2017 he was still in restoration phase with no knowledge of his current status. It was the first Soviet nuclear submarine put into service in 1958 and the first Soviet submarine to emerge at the North Pole in 1962

Using a real periscope
 

This is a real periscope taken from 'TCG ULUÇ ALİ REİS' submarine, joined Turkish Naval Forces in 1971 under the name of USS THORNBACK after serving for US Navy between 1944-1979. If you want to use this periscope like me, visit Military Marine Museum in Çanakkale/TURKEY. You can also visit Rahmi Koç Museum in İstanbul/TURKEY if you want to see inside of TCG ULUÇ ALİ REİS submarine.

My home is very close to this naval museum. I visit this museum regularly to use this periscope. You can see many ships en route through Dardanelles thank to this periscope (free of charge). I am trying to calculate their range, speed and AOB. Rohr eins los! :Kaleun_Salute:
