Sure. The term culture does not imply whether one agrees with it or not.

Might still be. Morocco offered them to us for Iraq back in 2003.

I remember that on M*A*S*H* since a daughter was less valuable than the family cow that had to graze on the land. :nope::nope:

Panel 2. Which way is he pointing? (if we get a third guy we can do a hilarious 3 Stooges routine...)

I think that's the blinker on the front of his car. So it would be the left blinker.

Anyway the whole thing's so funny, why quibble over details? :D

The car turn signal is the left hand turn signal. Panel 2 is him pointing to the addressees right. And i'm not quibbling! I am wasting time. There is a difference! :O:

But it is mister Oats left he is pointing towards. Being the egotistical prick that he is, it is obvious he is talking about things in a Mr. Oats centric fashion.

But he is pointing to his own left because it is indeed his own left towards which the turn in question will be made. This has in fact been properly indicated by the blinking left turn signal on the front of his car, as required by the applicable traffic laws and accepted customs of our nation's highways and byways.

Or is Mr. Oatmeal also required to compensate for the inability of other drivers to distinguish between "my left" and "his left"?

Ladies and germs of the jury, I humbly submit that he is not so required, and that to find against him in this case would be a perversion of justice not seen in our great nation since Gretchen (aka "Wretchen") made it to Fashion Week on season eight of Project Runway. I have already suffered enough, please do not add to my misery by returning from your deliberations with such a deplorable verdict.

Ah but a speaker gesticulates for his audiences benefit, not his own. :know:

Granted, but who benefits from these gesticulations?
