Mush talk to steed he does some pretty awesome skins ive got 1 or 2 of his and im impressed with his work oh and mush get a widescreen monitor mate i have so i can get all my boat onscreen in a oner woohoo:up:

I hope people don't get the idea that these boats are unsinkable! I've gone to the bottom twice since the weekend Martin!!!:rotfl: I need more speed, like how about 40 knots on the surface!!!!:D Then when things are quiet, we could go water skiing!!!

Oh and before i disapear out the door i have noticed as i go out in my 3rd uber boat patrol that i have no homing fish available is this par for the course or are they supposed to be there on every load out?:hmm:

Hunh! Your basic loadout should be Z1's all of em.

eddie I am considering a speed increase as well as a speed differential
between models.

I have manipulated torpedo courses after launch many times now and am more relaxed about
a homer tracking on me now, no problem to bring em about with that technique described in
readme. but I still cringe on the close passes.

Time to talk turkey about release.
 
OK a quick and very pointform recap of the general situation.

Uber originally made at home for use on my game
was asked when id turn it into a mod
started with beta1.1 with bad aft platform
platform fix moved to 1.2
otherwise just a general test distribution
with rebuilt mission and corrected platform
with minor tweaks became 1.3

all above uber versions are based on Type IXB

RDP and slightly PG inspire me to commit to the
idea of mini uber (harbour raider) so I start
to frame it up.

simultaneously discover that not all type IX hulls
are the same thanks to Ducimus.

so now I have a prototyped B
an unframed and struggling VII B or C
and a quickly framed and succesfully manifested IXD2

I decided to give them all names from norse mythos
as previously posted they would respectivly become
Type VIIB = Uber Valkryie
Type IXB = Uber Thor
Type IXD2 = Uber Odin
I like the names and they are harder to mix up in a running post.

now what to do with it.

choices keep distribution as is and build all three for release together
or
release Type IX-XIBeta1.3 as Uberthor1.4 now.
or
whether or not thats decided
do all three in a single mod
or a seperate mod.

Yup i am real glad i read the read me twice and it was more like a 9.4 mate on the up side it went whizzing past me went right over my aft then clobbered the V&W that was being a pain in the arse was funny as hell was like watching a etch a sketch on the screen:rotfl:

I found that the torpedo vex on the destroyer was maybe the most
gratifying tactic I ever developed.

Is Uberboot mod still active in Jsgme right now?
if so go to
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Cfg
and open basic cfg scroll down to IXB1939
except for the radar below it should look like

Yup what i am now doing is uninstalling everything related to SH3 and doing a fresh install with just the following:
SH3
patchs 1.1 / 1.2 / 1.3 / 1.4b
GWX
GWX patch 1.02
GWX skins packs
Uber boat
and JSGme and not installing SH3 commander at this time and will see what happens lemme do the first patrol to see if i get anything squirelly but will know by patrol 3/4 so Run downs and Screenies to follow:up:

Oh and down and out read the thread from start to end and you might understand what were doing before you start condeming what you dont know about

Missed the two parts of page 1 did you?
Read the Thread Prior to posting.

In the opening posts it says
Uberboot isnt historically accurate so of course your
expectation that it will be is quite mislead and obviosly
a little underread.

also in the opening posts on page one it states
that we as pariahs are aware of these innaccurasies
and that we do not need to be corrected on it.
and so if a purist please dont post unecessary
beratements for something we already are aware
of.

the torpedos didnt come that way we changed
them and as such, are aware of that much.
although you do seem to overstate the obvious
you seem blissfully unaware of most of it.

you also seem to have avoided the necessary
it is polite to read a thread on the forums
prior to posting on it,

many of us here are purists
and historians and we do not disrespect the puritan
lobby or go running overthere telling them that they
should cheat. Quite the contrary as a matter of
fact I myself and many here encourage and support
puritan work and do puritan work of our own.
this is also alluded to for myself on page one where
it clearly differentiates between the wildness of
uber and the historical purity of River Class Frigate.
in order to be more historically accurate I am putting
136 missing Frigates back into SH3 that as the
second most common commonwealth combatant
should have been included in the first place.
I dont see any posts on the river thread from
you giving me kudos.?
the third relevant thing you missed on page 1
and the thing that cinches you missing the
obvious is that if you dont like the mod
dont download it.
