Hi!

Very thanks!
I use TDW UI 6.8. Working only S5Enhanced mode? I would liked to use the S3Style mode, if it possible...

Update:
Working great! Thanks everybody!

I just picked up SHV for the very first time having no prior experience playing any sub sims, and I find your tutorials to be supremely useful.

I thought since I am new I would start the game on unrealistic easy mode, but your tutorials are helping me prowl the seas on 100% realism :arrgh!:

Great work

Map Land Colors

Stoianm,

What mod are you running to have the land on the map colored by elevation?

Great videos, I have learned a lot form them. Sank my first convoy last night on 100% reality with Real Nav Mod.

Great videos Sir ;) I learnt a lot from them.

I have two questions, both about
4 bearing method.

1. Are there any mininum bearing requirements when I can use this method ? Most of time I find contacts coming from behind me. I haven't met any contacts yet which could be in perfect tracking positions like on your video. Another thing is that most of times they move like this, example: first bearing 250, second one 256 ... and I don't know what should I do now. Is there a fast method to find out how I should prepare my sub to start tracking like on your video ?

2. During seting up scope (speed, range, aob etc) when I move my scope to reset gyroangle my AoB changes too when on your video it doesn't ... what I do wrong ?

Thank you

PS Sorry for my english, it's not my first language

It's not a mod, it's a patch to the exe. You can find it here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=181433

Use the app available at bottom of post #1 of the thread. Simple as cake to patch the exe then

. All you have to do is to hit a button to get your position (+- some limited error). This 'Real navigation'-Mod is truely a joke comparing to a true navigation in WWII.
