Shogun 2 has gotten some great reviews at a number of sites....but I have a major problem with it. I really do not like the fact that the generals have what are basically generic names,other than the Daimyos and some of the heirs.

No Toyotomi Hidyoshi,no Shibata Katsuie...etc etc. I guess if I want a game with SOME historical accuracy then I'm going to have to wait till Koei developes a Nobunaga's Ambition for the pc. The original Shogun had all the generals...so 2 is quite a disappointment for me.

You get two DVDs which install the game(although it does use steam to install) and then it downloads a patch(or two)


@Raptor: That explains it. I'm playing as an isolationist until I beat the game once, so I wont see it anytime soon.

I just bought the game off steam now a 12 hour wait for it to download :damn:

Might aswell post this here too, Zool from our clan posted it into the clan chat. These animations are all in-game combat animations you see invidual soldiers use. The 2nd battle has been edited so it's longer, but other than that, it's all in-game stuff. :up:

Just get the retail box Skybird that way it will speed up installation a lot.
