Finished the training mission and docked in Kiel. Talked to Officer and watch briefing video. Atl end of animation no Mission selection appear on the map. Going thru the forums there should be 2 mission choices but none are showing up. Can't progress any further. :damn:

Have looked all over the map, No Icons (German Cross) show up on the map.

• Switching directly from gun scope to external view, showed external view with the scope graphics still attached to camera.
• Ditto with periscope view

• Somehow (don't know why) I now have a game session where right-clicking the cursor/aim toggle is not working anymore. Cursor is locked to aim. This seem to be limited to when using the external view. Exiting external view fixed the issue apparantly.

• F1 help, keyboard mapping does not reflect my nationality's real keys (Norwegian keyboard setup).

• Seagulls observed flying at either night time or when its rather dark.

• I put the uboat gently down on the seafloor at about 80m depth, 100% hull integrity. However I noticed a crewmember portrait being colored red, unsure of when that happened. Ordered surfacing directly from seafloor at flank speed (100% hull integrity still), then 2 more crewmembers portraits turned red. Red=Dead?

Anyone else's sub ever randomly exceed ludicrous speed?

I was taking out the Polish vessels in the tutorial, when I noticed my target disappeared. I went up top and noticed the sky was flying by....and the sea too. Soon enough no sea just land. Started getting low battery warnings and the game crashed.

I'm guessing I was over/in/under occupied czechoslovakia at that point.

Maybe you didn´t end up in czech republic but went as far as romania. I think your boat had some kind of homesickness...

This may be another SHV glitch ? ( part of his legs and feet in the metal flooring sure is a glitch though. )

I am getting old ( 74 ) and my eyes are getting worse but their not that bad yet.

There were not ANY black people in WWII Germany U-Boots let alone Germany itself to my knowledge cause ole stupid Hitler did not like them.

Again no offence made to any black person/persons but the pic does look like a black person to me?

I think its just the lighting, as I haven't noticed any black people in my crew.

I think I just hit ludicrous speed while going in for a refit at Heligoland. I was on TC and jumped from outside of the harbor to like a mile inland in an instant. Full Stop! indeed... :DL

The funny thing...It wasn't a TDC error in my game. I was just staring at the screen laughing as my sub flew over dry land. I fell out of the chair when the low battery warnings started going off.

This episode brought the wife down who simply couldn't understand it.

Make sure you're playing a legal copy of the game. This has been reported as what happens when you're not.

Anyone find the electrics just a wee bit too noisy?
 

I'm cruising along at 1 knot (periscope depth), silent running.. and i can barely use the hydrophone.

I've been coming to a complete stop to hear anything.

Yeah, I think so too. Plus, I'm not able to hear the engine when pointing the hydrophones aft.

Pariscope, Battle Stations & no deck watch
 

Well, I'm trying to get through the 'training' part of a carrear

I sink the first 3 ships but in route, I am lined up for a great shot at another ship omw to Kiel.. but cant access the pariscope.. so I can't put a fish in it. I've tried everything.. even logged out and waited until tonight and still I can't access it.

When surfaced, the crew stays below.. no deck watch comes up.

I cannot get the crew to battle Stations

Anyone have any help with these please?

I'm kinda stuck here and the documents I have are useless.. they are like "This is the pariscope.. bla bla bla.. use it to aim and fire at ships.." Oh.. gee, I didn't know that.. gads..

So far the game is frustrating.. what works once (access the pariscope to sink 3 ships) never works again. It won't even highlight as an option to use.
