She looks more like a REAL female marine. You know... dirty, pale, smoker, has that look that says she decapitates after mating...

Now that's thrilling!

Well, there was "All Quiet on the Western Front." ;)

That Wilfred Owen poem has to be one of the all-time best war poems. Though I also like "Death of the Ball Turrent Gunner" by Randall Jarrell.

Kudos!

Oh!! Honey I'm home!!!!

Regarding the whole GWX release: I have a very good reason for wanting to see GWX come out ASAP. You see, the missus and I have a second child due December 24th. Our first child, however, came exactly a month early, so we may be looking at a Thanksgiving baby as opposed to a Christmas baby.

It suuuurrrre would be nice to be able to play GWX before the baby arrives (and months of sleep deprivation ensue!).... nudge, nudge... wink, wink.... ;)

You know, I *still* remember studying Dulce et Decorum Est in primary school near 30 years ago. It is perhaps my favourite poem.

Just thinking of it now reminds me of Siegfried Sassoon, Anthem for Doomed Youth and, d'oh, iambic pentameter...

Same here only it was about... oh lemme think... 2 and a half years ago? Maybe? Grade 12 Literature class. I love war poetry just for the very simple, sober approach and the very jagged real imagery. Terrible irony how beautiful poetry comes from the most terrible of wars.

EDIT. and to SUbConscious kudos on the kid! Hopes its a boy so that by the time he's 12 you can play SIlent Hunter 13 with him.
