If they're far enough away I found out that surfacing 'out of sight' and going flank for an hour or two will get rid of it but right now I have one stalking me only a few K away and the weather isn't bad enough to lose visual on it.

I hate this bug too. But normally save and reload will fix it.

Or you can sneak up to it at night and sink it with a torp.
Stay on the surface so you won't be detected.

Hi there, hope i am in the right space, here goes... i have upgraded too win11 and having problem entering sub..mission 'Total Germany'. i get to the stage where you accept mission but nothing changes, i remain on map or if i close map, back yaking to commander. some times i can't accept mission :hmmm:

Installed from sh5 disk, run as administrator in win 7 mode.

The game will freeze and become unresponsive after about 2 minutes. No errors or crash windows.. I have removed and reinstalled and I scrubbed the registry (Engineer for 25 years).

This ONLY happens when playing a saved game... If I start a new campaign I can refit and keep going with no glitches. I am not saving over saves etc etc I am a little pissed since I had a stable SH4 environment and tihs seems much worse!

ALguien nos podría ayudar a poder instalar sin problemas el SH5?

Textures flickering bug

Does anyone else have a problem with texture flickering? For example my u boat symbol will have a black flickering effect, or some things in the sub like the paper on the enigma machine or certain dials will also flicker. This has happened with stock SH and with mods. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi Captains,
I'm having an issue where clicking on the sound guy in the crew management screen to add promotion points gives me an instant CTD. I can access all the other crew members with no problems.
I have Twos 2.2.25 running and have tried removing all the extra mods I have added to that but it makes no difference (and I can't see a mod that's even remotely linked to that screen).
If this is not fixable (which I suspiciously suspect isn't) can you still sail through the campaigns without having to promote the sound guy (tough luck Benno!)?
Appreciate any help.

Been playing Silent Hunter 5 again. Still some bugs. But the game itself is pretty decent and fun to still play.

C:\SH5

Steam: C:\Steam

Segundo, poner SH5 en compatibilidad W7 y administrador. Exceptuar del antivirus y firewall toda la carpeta de SH5 (y de paso toda la de Steam).

Tercero: para reinstalar, borra completamente la carpeta SH5 que está en Mis Documentos o My Documents. No tiene que quedar nada para una reinstalación limpia y completa.

Cuarto: Bajar Ubi Connect de Ubisoft. Es la app de Ubisoft que funciona; el Ubisoft Launcher es un hormiguero de problemas y no funciona.

Y debes tener la versión 1.2 de SH5.
