Such sad news. My thoughts and prayers are with Dave's family and friends.

It makes the fabulous work Dave did with ROW all the more special now...

You only have to look at the number of times the ROW files have been downloaded to know that what he did for this community was used and appreciated by hundreds, if not thousands, around the world - that's an achievement and legacy to be proud of.

Nobody dies while someone remembers. Dave will always be alive in us.

This is very very sad. I can remember his first pm to me asking to change a mod specially for him. With the time, learning about Dave's situation, he get a special place in my life and my heart.
I will miss him.

:down: This is so sad. I have worked alot with Dave with improving the textures for the enviroments and will miss our discussions about ROW and what to do next and so on...

He is one of the most dedicated men I have ever worked with! and helped the ROW-team by allways setting the bar for high solutions to everything he worked with.

His death has come as a very sad thing and at the moment I don't know if the ROW-team will continue now that he is gone. Originaly I started ROW with Dave because we thought there was room for improvement on Silent hunter 4 and with Dave's entusiasm and ideas this mod has become one of the biggest mod I have ever worked on.

Respect and rest in peace Dave.

Dave, I will remember you not as an excellent modder, but as a true fighter. You turned the tables more than once, but you couldn't avoid the last blow. Still, you're the victorious one. You will live on in the hearts of the many people you touched with your dedication, class, and strength of character.

I totally agree.. Dave was a fantastic person to work with.. very dedicated and full of humor. I really liked him.

Although his medical situation was not good, I am still shocked that he is no more.
I am really gonna miss Dave.
