Since my last render enlisted no comments here is something better. This came out so good it is now my current desktop.

Looks good, I like the 2nd one. :)
How long did it take to render the scene? |

Well, minus the wheels and the base which are shamelessly taken from another model. You know, it's called reuse :DL |
Good to reuse, saves time. :DL
Nice looking train! |
Working on a british X-Craft. Wanted to do this a long time after reading 'Sink the Tirpitz'. I found some plans for the X5-X10 series [more here].
If you have any good pics or drawing please share. I want to add a lot of details once the basic form is done. http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/5177/59792625.jpg |
My X-Craft is starting to look like something from outer space. Still not happy with the upper part of the tail, the one next to the exhaust. I will probably have to redo it later but for now I'm sick of tweaking.
The plans I found are so misaligned that I suspect the British did it on purpose to confuse the enemy should they get their hands on them. http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/3224/x51c.jpg The real thing at Maritime Quest, only it's X-24 |
:o
Wow, looks nice. |
Google Sketchup? :hmmm:

Kanalkampf: http://img691.imageshack.us/img691/6263/stuka1.jpg Any thoughts? Drawing sea is a bitch! :haha: |

Have you considered a CGI sea with hand drawing objects (the ships and planes)? I've seen a few movies where traditional animation and CGI are mixed and I thought it looked very interesting. |
