During the Scottish referendum, someone took a photo of Alex Salmond looking through the window of the FLYING SCOTSMAN, with the first letter hidden by the tunnel, so it looked like LYING SCOTSMAN. Now that his successor, Nicola Sturgeon, makes her speeches behind a sign saying STRONGER FOR SCOTLAND, could someone watch out for her covering the first two letters with her hand and take a photo of that. Because then it would say RONGER FOR SCOTLAND.

The Prime Minister has issued a stark warning that the world could be heading for a second economic crash because of "a dangerous backdrop of instability" fuelled by conflicts, Ebola and stalled trade talks.

If he goes down that road then clearly he is barking mad. This prat has been in office with his little side kick poodle known as Clegg since 2010 and people are getting fed up with its all labour's fault, the way he is going he will blame labour for the skid marks in his undies!

Not sure if I'll even bother voting this year. Our candidate and me didn't actually see eye to eye prior to my retirement.

It is a bit of the devil and the deep blue sea, but any vote against UKIP is a vote well spent.

Day off work and garage full of beer....looking forward to this evenings by-election.

MGR1 11-20-14 07:29 AM

Yep, watching with interest. It'll be interesting to see just how the Tories and UKIP do against each other.....(SubSim needs a munching popcorn smiley!!)

In the meantime, here's some articles I found recently:

http://www.futureukandscotland.ac.uk...cottish-labour

http://www.futureukandscotland.ac.uk...nion-and-smith

http://www.futureukandscotland.ac.uk...england-survey

http://www.futureukandscotland.ac.uk...nal-preference

http://www.futureukandscotland.ac.uk...united-kingdom

The last highlights that a UK exit from the EU would throw up a few unintended consequences.....:o

All in all, not a bad site.

Mike.

I was reading on one news site that there could be a lot of tactical voting with Labour voters voting UKIP to keep the Tories out.

Jimbuna 11-20-14 08:33 AM

The bottom line for me will be the end result....let the television and radio 'experts' pick the bones out of it all afterwards.

My question on the subject is....who will come second behind UKIP?
