It appears that at least the S-Class skins have been removed form the server, though the links are still there.

I right clicked and did a save as. That worked except the rar files were empty, or zipgenius messed up the extraction. Not sure which yet.

But right clicking allowed me to download them.

With right clicking I manage to download "RAR" files, but when open the files I have a message of error (file format unknown or damaged).

Quote and bump. I was about to ask if anyone had any links to these. I tried one, and it seems to work, even after filefronts reshuffeling.

From Filefront is the page of the mods, but the files are stored in Gamefront. All the links are active.

And a question:

Is there some way to select the sub name (or number) in TMO? The game routine assign a sub according the class (I want a Gato; the game assign Wahoo or other Gato class). But I want to select "USS Wahoo", or "USS Gato", etc...

Never I see a mod for that, is it impossible? I read long time ago about a modification in the list of names, putting the desired sub name in first post (now I don´t remember what cfg file contain the sub names). The game routine (tell that post), has the tendency to select the first name (but not ever). In my TMO 2 installation; that method never work...

Go to Data\Roster\American\Submarine and open SSGato.cfg

Delete all [units] except the Wahoo part and change it's unit no. to 1...

It may be a good idea to change date to date from first released unit (19411101) to prevent mishaps.



Perhaps make a mod out of it as a first step, just in case... :D

I think in that solution, but I didn´t try it. I think, also, in change ALL the ships names from a determined class (all the Porpoise are Porpoise, for example); the routine of the game select a Porpoise class and ever his name is "Porpoise".

I don´t know if deleting the units, except the name desidered, don´t generate problems with the random routine.

I´ll work on that, now. If I obtain positive results, I´ll make a mod.

Many thanks for the help! In reality, I want a Balao as "Pampanito", my favorite fleet boat from the time of my visit to it in USA (when I was a child...).

Can you post the exact instructions in a separate thread? In SUBSIM Forums there aren´t instructions for that. I understand your method, but some mates think the selection of sub name is impossible in SH4.
