Very warm yesterday and for today a little cooler. Some weather forecaster said we are in for a super heatwave next week, please no I had enough for this year.

Jimbuna 09-02-16 07:14 AM

Warm and sunny here so I reckon I'll take the bride out for a teatime meal :sunny:

STEED 09-03-16 05:28 AM

Heatwave is on for next week..blast!

As for today warmer than yesterday.

Jimbuna 09-03-16 01:23 PM

Peeing it down all day here but not all that bothered as the boy has unexpectedly returned home.

STEED 09-04-16 11:45 AM

Dry dull and humid air moving in ready for the heat this coming week.

Jimbuna 09-04-16 02:33 PM

Sunny enough to convince me to go out for lunch so can't complain.

STEED 09-05-16 09:49 AM

It's muggy out there people, that is to say those of us live in the South.

Jimbuna 09-06-16 09:37 AM

Hot and humid here....hope I won't be called into work like I was last night.

Not the only one who rather not work in this. :03:

Very humid here and hot but lack of sunshine today. The only upside to this it looks like the Met Office last week put their figures a bit to high. Looks like the cooling down starts later in the week.

Yep, called in and after going to bed, couldn't sleep because the temperature overnight was 20C +.

I'm wondering if it's worth having air con installed for the sake of a couple of weeks warm overnight weather per year :hmmm:

I run a mobile air conditioner every summer rather noisy works well up to 77c above that at best blowing on me just about works. No idea about fitted air con and in your neck of the woods jim you suffer less, unlike me in the south.

Today was a repeat of yesterday with wall to wall sunshine and a bit of a drop tomorrow. I hope so in work.

Fair point.

So much for the drop its up slightly not what I want, roll on winter and please can we have a winter in the south this year.

Jimbuna 09-09-16 10:23 AM

Dull, overcast and clouds look full of rain, yet it is warm.

Do I wear a coat to work tonight or simply carry it in the car :hmmm:

I'd toss a coin but the last time I did that it rolled under one of the storage drawers in the man cave and I lost it :)

Eichhörnchen 09-09-16 11:37 AM

Very strong winds building and rain lashing down now.
