Speaking of Wychwood Brewery I always get there Xmas ale when it comes out. It has a great odd smell and tastes great. :)

Thanks, mate... funnily enough Moira got me some of that very thing to drink tonight! Also it's been reviewed... on pages 2 and 14... very nice beer

But I've added 'Bah Humbug!' to the index as this hasn't been featured yet

"Tequila flavour beer" (ABV 5.1%; ASDA's four beers for £6.00)

Light, faintly hoppy, sweet and tasting of lime juice; not sure about the tequila thing, it just tastes of limes to me. Very unusual and refreshing

Enjoyed a few bottles of this last night and wasn't disappointed.

A refreshing, satisfyingly smooth taste with soft fruit tones and a subtle malty flavour. Exceptionally well-balanced, Cobra is also less gassy than many other lagers, making it highly drinkable. It has a crisp and clean finish.

Went down well with my Indian Curry last night.

We usually get some 'Cobra' in for a curry. Like you say, it's not full of gas

Daughter bought me half a dozen for my anniversary.

A pale golden liquid with a light sparkle and an attractive head when poured into a glass. A pleasant, clean and attractive aroma with floral hops and distinct Cereal/Grain/Nutty notes. A refreshing clean, slightly off-dry flavour exhibiting floral citrus toffee notes. A clean and slightly bitter / dry aftertaste.

Pretty similar to Cobra in my estimation.

Watched the Southampton v Brighton match on tv last night whilst enjoyng a few bottles of thid delightful brew.

Brewed to celebrate the Lake District author, Alfred Wainwright. A full and golden coloured ale with delicate fruit flavours and subtle sweetness. Very thirst quenching, a tad abrasive but very drinkable.

Cask; Seasonal - April to October. Also available bottled. The ultimate catch, a refreshing golden pale ale with a fruity bitterness & lingering aftertaste. Certainly a beer to help create those one that got away stories! Brewed with Wold grown malts and hopped with the fruity Cascade and Goldings hops.
