Bugger me... I think we're just going to have to chip away at this one; I could be wrong, but that gent in picture number two looks like Benjamin Disraeli, British Prime Minister.

(PS: The duck sent the PM, not me...)

Is "Old Peculier" the ale?

Damn you...

That was very specific, and then you get the song title wrong?

Eichhörnchen 06-24-15 09:42 AM

I'll need most of that explaining to me, I regret to say. I did at one point find myself thinking: "Disraeli gears, that's amusing... sounds like Derailleur gears"... but I have no knowledge of the album or the song.

Aktungbby 06-24-15 09:53 AM

WINNER! (close enough) No song title intended; just Cream Disraeli Gears and the lyric: 'Sirens sweetly singing' with a considerable hint in the 'what hot on your tracks thread' ie the :subsim: thread Sargasso'. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?p=2323498#post2323498The weird ale is of course "STRANGE BREW" https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...Brew_59106.jpg side 'b' has 'Tales of Brave Ulysses' with the lyric 'siren sweetly singing' :woot: and of course England has many gods :O: http://media.urbandictionary.com/ima...pton-27774.jpg

Dunno what the first pic is of, but the second is Ann Bolyn. Pass on this one for now.

That is in some dispute actually; I thought it was Anne too: But the Boleyn sisters tended to wear 'B" pendant jewelry ....Her portraits (many) were destroyed after her judicial murder. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...nneboleyn2.jpg http://www.theguardian.com/science/2015/feb/16/anne-boleyn-portrait-found-using-facial-recognition-software the only undisputed image>http://i.guim.co.uk/static/w-620/h--...6-620x372.jpegalso thought to be H VIII's next wife Jane Seymour: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/science/science-news/11414222/Portraits-of-Anne-Boleyn-may-not-be-her-say-experts.htmlhttps://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...rt_Project.jpg:hmmm:http://i.imgur.com/2FvXnkQ.jpg Sailors See More?:woot:
