I am obliged to remind Europe that half of Austrias coal mines are under strike and the blame is solely on Sardinia-Piedmont and their nationalistic agitation in Lombardie that spread like cancer over the rest of the Empire and Europe and mutated into its worst form as liberal agitation.

Ok Ok.. joke aside, I guess as Prussia I just have one mayor disadvantage in this theater but can't help to see Both France and Britain lay claims and absorbing these territories into their empires/nation like each turn or so or at least claiming them that is.
Is that some decision? how does one obtain those or what are the conditions to trigger such event? and is playing Prussia the colonial game made more difficult?

As far as I know, Prussia isn't considered a colonial power until it unifies Germany, at which point it gets access to all the colonial decisions including the ones allowing it to declare protectorates and colonies.

I think you need to have enough colonial penetration before you can make it officially a colony or so forth. With Angra you're at a bit of a disadvantage because you're right slap bang next to the giant hulk that is British South Africa so there's a fair bit of British influence leaking over the borders there, however you are ahead of me in terms of loyalty, but I have a greater Colonial Penetration, but only by 5% so you'll probably overtake me on that soon.
