Cleese is a professional comedian, and I don't think he's laughing at this particular instance.

I think he was referring to Mr. Cleese's height of 6'5". Of course he was also trying to divert the subject away from his arrogant dismissal of anyone he considers beneath him, which seems to be pretty much everybody. Couple that with the fact that he has steadfastly refused to say anything about himself, as many of us here have, and you have the unhappy situation in which he thinks he's part of the crowd but doesn't seem to realize exactly unliked he is.

I know, "it's not a popularity contest", but many of us here do try to maintain some amount of friendly kinship. Tribesman just likes to crap on people.
