Well I see no logic reason that would speak against this, since Plissken offers the PW in his signature - which is as public as this thread.

But sure: Let Plissken decide what to include.

Anyhow: The first post here should be updated, because that link is not working - with or without password-data.

The SH3 Mods on my Server are accessable for everyone,so if the Admins think the Link in the first Post of this Thread should be updated than they could do it.

Hello Plissken_04 !

I have two questions:
How big is your archive of SH3 mods ?
How about a mirror of the mods ?
I can give about 22 Gb of space. No ads, with ftp like structure.

1. My SH3 archive have a size of 40 GB at current moment.

2. Do you mean a list of the Mods?,if so this would take to much time to write down all mods, cause there must be over 800 on my Server.

And thanks for the offer, but i have still enough space available for more Mods.

Unfortunately I'm not a moderator for this forum, or the link would be updated already. I should be talking to Jimbuna on Skype later today. I'll try to see that it gets done.

The only comment that I received upon this was that Plissken has to decide (and he has already approved), but since then, nothing has been done.

I know first-hand that we have a real-life and this is only a hobby and I know every admin's excuse first-hand (I have done that job for more than 20 years now!), but no reaction from the moderator-staff for more than 2 weeks now is a bit...hm...weak?

Since you haven't mentioned it, I will: Urfisch updated the link on November 10th, eight days after the post I'm quoting.

As for Plissken approving the moderators to make the change, he may have told you, but he never told us...well, me anyway, so my hands were tied.

The reason no action was taken officially was, as I've explained to others before, that if a member is still active we consider it unethical to change his posts without his permission unless said posts are in direct violation of Subsim rules, i.e. pornography, extreme violence, language and the like. If the member is no longer active then we will take action, but only after exhausting every possible means of contacting him/her. Since Urfisch was still around that was not the case, and it was not our place to rewrite his post without his express permission.

He has fixed the link himself and the problem is now solved. :sunny:

I absolutly agree with your argumentation, Sailor Steve.

This shows to everyone that "subsim-forum" is one of the best managed forums ever (purhaps the best, but i don't know all subsim related forums).
