Hans, just a wee note to say your most recent version, 3.0 runs seamlessly on my new computer which has nvidia 8400 gs [1 gb RAM].
Also no probs with .. GWX 2.1 NYGM 3 GRID and even ... EXPERT POOL [dearly missed playing this ... the old uns are the best] :rotfl: |
After multiply gunnery battles with hurricanes and medium bombers i noticed that at least the hurricane MkII has the "Royal Navy/number" between the wing and the tailwings or whatever its called on the stearboard mirrored. On the opposite side its correct readable.

I like the sea very much...no....very very much. At nighttime its pretty much how I rememebr it. The "glow" around the boat is near perfect....should get darker quicker if no moon but thats a small criticism. The reason for the glow is incidential light reflects of the sub onto the water around it, thats why they're visible...same effect with a sledge on the snow in a whiteout...can't see anything except some snow texture around the sledge. hope you pass on your tweaks to OLC as it would be really great to use his OLC Gui and Environment with this mod.
I'm not very keen on the gui but i do like the fact that everything slides into view, allowing a clear screen. Love the big dials too. Didn't notice the sub pitching down vertically when diving as the rocking, the effect might be there (aka saussages) but not noticeable due to general sub rocking motion. I'm only in Aug 1939 so more feedback as things start to "hot up". |

1) Open data/Menu/en_menu.txt 2) Delete the following lines 160=Seaman 161=Senior Seaman 162=Chief Seaman 163=Warrant Officer 164=Senior Warrant Officer 165=Chief Sr. W. Officer 166=Sub-Lieutenant 167=Lieutenant Jr. 168=Lieutenant Sr. 169=Lieutenant Sr. 170=Lieutenant Jr.;Lieutenant Sr. 171=Lieutenant Sr.;Lieutenant Commander 172=Lieutenant Commander;Commander 173=Commander;Captain Jr. 174=;Captain 3) Replace the deleted lines with these ( from de_menu.txt):- 160=Matrosengefreiter 161=Matrosenobergefreiter 162=Matrosenhauptgefreiter 163=Bootsmann 164=Stabsbootsmann 165=Stabsoberbootsmann 166=Oberfähnrich z. S. 167=Leutnant z. S. 168=Oberleutnant z. S. 169=Oberleutnant z. S. 170=Leutnant z. S.; Oberleutnant z. S. 171=Oberleutnant z. S.; Kapitänleutnant 172=Kapitänleutnant; Korvettenkapitän 173=Korvettenkapitän; Fregattenkapitän 174=;Kapitän z. S. The contact colouring may not be so simple. It seems that a number of tga files will need replacing with those from GWX. Do you also have GWX on your computer? |
