I think upon reflection they'll realise that they've shot themselves in the foot as they will have to give Man City the same proportional punishment as Everton have just received, all in the name of fair play and all that. Call me biased but I'm surprised it wasn't Newcastle they made an example of (if they were able).

There is a vote on 21st about preventing clubs loaning from associate clubs which is obviously intended to prevent Newcastle from loaning players from the four clubs in the Saudi league which are currently owned by PIF.
