Congratulations to you both, and that's a great photo of you Glynn...you look like James Bond :yep:

Thanks, mate. Funny you should say that - I got asked to play the role 4 or 5 years earlier - but it was by the "Reliance Mutual Insurance Company Amateur Film Club" (the Head Office, where I worked before taking up painting). Believe me it wouldn't have been the most exciting movie in the genre, even with me in it :haha:

Congratulations to you both, coincidentally it'll be forty years for us next month so any excuse for a trip to Cyprus.

Congratulations Vinnie and Glenn on your respective anniversaries. Since Vinnie's lady had been in law, she should know her parole hearing from Vinnie should be coming soon. :haha: In all seriousness, Congrats to you both and your ladies. :yep:

Thinking of you and Carol as well, Arnold. :yep:

Eisenwurst 09-06-24 09:13 AM

Thanks Robert. Carol's unit ( actually both apartment blocks ) has/have been bought by developers, and going to be demolished. I've been going back while I still can and taken lots of photos- each one has a memory attached.

Now it's an empty shell, and soon to be an empty space.... We had a lot of good times there. When it's all over I'll post some photos.

I'm sorry to hear that, Arnold. The Restaurant where Susan and I had our first Date / Dinner was bought out and torn down. I was deeply saddened to see it demolished. It was an Irish style Pub with an Irish name to go with it. :) The Restaurant also featured a great menu and food and drinks as well. The Restaurant fast became one of our favorite places. :yep:

Congratulations to James and Ann on their upcoming 40th Anniversary as well. :yep: :) A good friend of mine will be getting married in October, next month. I'm sure they will have a long life together as well.

...:timeout: "that's no lady, that's my wife!":shucks:

with a precise citation to an 1887 vaudeville routine by Joseph Weber and Lew Fields: "Who was that lady I saw you with last night?" "She ain't no lady; she's my wife.""

Overthinking about how to interact

Greetings,

I just learned about the rule to post anything in order for moderators to know I am not just another bot.

I don't really know what to say.

But I liked the heart and soul of SUBSIM and to read info about various good games I just got into on it.

Since young age wanted to be a submariner but will current qualifications can only be infantrymen if I try my best. I guess PC simulations are always there for me.

Thank You:salute:
