hey there fellow skippers. im reintroducing myself as its been over a year since i last booted up Silent Hunter. Currently im on SH4 as i wanted to play in the Pacific. i came across SUBSIM looking for mods to enhance SH5 and installed WOS, which i find to be a great megamod. im relearning everything again in SH4 and am enjoying the challenge.

i play mostly sims and strategy games but i do like the more mainstream games like Call of Duty as well. i'm hoping to make some friends here and have a good time with all of us. anyways, just wanted to say hi.

finally got FOTRSU correctly installed for Silent Hunter 4. didnt read the fine print on the mod page earlier but i got it running stable now. night and day difference. reminds me a lot of TWOS for SH5 but instead we will be serving cheeseburgers instead of brats on my boat :haha:

My parents on their wedding day during the war. My father sailed to Murmansk on the only unescorted convoy there during the war less than a week later (£50 bonus was the bait)....the silly bugga but thankfully he returned.

I came along about 9 months later....:hmmm: In later years, I asked mom about the close timing; she responded wickedly: "Oh yeah, we forgot to tell U; You're a bastard!":arrgh!:
