Why are you assuming I'm upset?

So... man posts a sexist picture, woman posts a humorous response, dude takes the response personally and gets all defensive about how he's not a sexist, and somehow the woman is the one who's supposed to lighten up? :06:

You posted a picture that was supposed to be funny. I posted a picture in response that was supposed to be funny in what I considered to be a very appropros way, as in, "this is what might happen to a man who tried to order a woman around with a remote like the one in the previous picture, if such a remote existed."

It was not "directed" at you as the perpetrator of sexist attitudes, nor did I indicate or intend to indicate that I thought YOU were a proponent of the sexist stereotypes you say you were poking fun at. I get that you were poking fun at them, no problem. I poked fun back. It's that simple.

I think that would be treading dangerous water :shifty: But it looks like it's too late!

I was actually looking for something like that when I found the picture I ended up posting.

But none of the remotes designed to "control" men had anything on them I liked, such as "peel me a grape" or "I'm done, put your pants on and go home."
