Absolutly great work
What a great work on the Arleigh Burke, Karle.
DOwnload is in progress =) And i want to thank jhapprich for the fantastic russian subs. Have a lot of fun with the alfa and the typhoon. And i have a request. How about a german sub, typ 212 A. Or maybe the alternate type 214. They use instead of nuclear power (Germany isn't allowed to use this) hydrogen oxygen fuel cells. Would be great to use these in SH4. Greetings Gibbs1 |
I think the textures on the gun looks absolutely looks great, the level of detail on it is just unbelievable.

Do anybody have a tip on increasing the rate of fire on the Phalanx? I have 0 in recoil and recoil time. It makes it faster, but it ain`t fast enough. Any ideas?
|
na, kollege, dass wir keine atomuboote haben, hat ja nun doch ganz andere gründe, aber verboten hat es uns keiner...
|
try put 0,0001 reload time, or 5 bullets magazine instead of one

fletcher
is there still a download link of the 'Fletcher/DDG-113' at the first page??
|
Hello Karle, just wondering if the new Arleigh Burke is downloadable already?
Love your work. Cheers mate. |
No and no.
Decided to put the Otobreda 76mm super rapid on the ship. It is a dual purpose gun in real life as well as in the game. http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...9-01-00-51.jpg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZXQu...ature=youtu.be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJpqN...eature=related |
Nice modification karle, have you taken a look at the daring and type23 frigate, would love to see the daring tear it up on the high seas

Here`s my progress so far:
http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-11-47-37.jpg http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-11-56-78.jpg http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-12-08-43.jpg http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-12-20-92.jpg Properly scaled and positioned. Now all I have to do is to seperate some parts and unweld the vertices. I`ll replace the three bladed screw with more modern looking five bladed ones from the Burke. |
That looks fantastic, I can't wait, Maybe you could also put her in as a replacement for the destroyers on British and American side??
|
So I have a working ship with working weapons and working radars. now all I need to do is to test the ship in battle conditions.

Oh it's looking mighty fine, when she up for download? Would love to put her through her paces.

Type 45, baptised in fire.
First ship-to-ship fight. My radars picked up a Japanese task force about 400 km out, thanks to the SAMPSON. I turned and went in until I could spot em. It was a clear and beautiful night. I slowed down to 1/3. I launched a Harpoon on the leading ship, a Furutaka class heavy cruiser. Twenty seconds later I launched another Harpoon on a second ship, another Furutaka. Both Harpoons hit and both ships sank. Launched a Harpoon on the third ship, a Kuma class light cruiser. This one hit a Furutaka as it was sinking. I launched a second one, and it hit. The ship didn`t sink right away, but sank a few minutes later. I launched a Harpoon on the fourth and last ship, another Kuma class. It missed. I engaged it with the 4.5 inch guns. It was not until then that they spotted me. They fired and scored no hits. My shells were either slightly too short, slightly too long or right on. I launched a Harpoon. It would have hit if it weren`t for them sinking due to the 4,5 inch gun. My conclusion is: If you don`t get hit you can sink any ship the game will put into your crosshair. By "sniping" from long distances with missiles, any encounters are survivable with reasonable margin. |
