I can't believe I clicked on an NFL thread only to have my eyes scalded by Red Wing pictures. One more of those and I'm clicking the bad post button...

I am torn though, Khabibulin plays for da hawks now. It's sad though, i haven't watch any hockey this year. i'm in the wrong part of the country for sure.

Sunday, after the Vikings choke away another game (and chance for a division title) the Wild will get beat by the 'Hawks.

For the record I'm a Packer fan and a Blackhawk fan. Both since '92. I've waited 12 years for the 'Hawks to return to playoff relevance.

The largest crowd of the season is expected when the Chargers and Denver Broncos meet on Sunday night to decide the champion of the AFC West division. The game kicks off at 5:15 pm and will be shown live nationally on NBC.

Go Chargers ... Never give up

Holy blones batman!

So can the cheezheadz survive the hapless lions today?

Gus is back for the vikes.

Dallas @ Philly in late December, that one should be good.

LobsterBoy 12-28-08 12:19 PM

I dunno about the Pack-Lion game. Both teams are only playing for pride (Lions trying to avoid 0-16 and the Pack trying to avoid being the only team the Lions beat). Both sport AWFUL defense, but the Pack have a better offense and thus *should* win.

I don't think they cover a 10.5 point spread, however...

Will the Vikes earn their playoff spot, back in, or miss out entirely? Hmmmm....
They should be able to beat a disinterested Giant team. Houston certainly has the passing game to beat Chicago.

But the Vikings are playing a game that matters, and they seem to have a problem there.

Aramike 12-28-08 02:24 PM

Heh, I thought the Pack/Kittens game was going to be a hard-hitting pride affair. Boy was a wrong.

Mason Crosby DID fall JUST short of a 69 yard field goal, though. That *would* have been cool.

LobsterBoy 12-28-08 03:15 PM

Hard hitting?

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Neither defense is ever in position to make a tackle, otherwise they'd have more than 5 wins between them.

Erm, there's more hitting in football than just tackling...

LobsterBoy 12-28-08 04:22 PM

In most football games. I don't know about this one. 800 total yards of offense?

Congrats to the Vikings for beating a half-strength Giant team at the last second. They'll lose to the winner of the Dallas-Philly game next week.

See, the Pack didn't cover the spread (if it was still 10.5)

nikimcbee 12-29-08 09:19 AM

Those poor cowboys......not!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Raiders won, texans won...
Vikes will self destruct soon.

Look at the bright side 1480, you can focus on da bulls.
