Hi mates,

Not sure I am captain status yet, but with luck and lots of training I aspire to be one.. Hopefully with the mods and this game I can learn to be a great sub captain..

I will use the Wolf pack mod, but without real navigation at least for a bit till I get used to it all.. I will use manual TDC, though I guess with navigation turned on it will not be as realistic..

I'm Mick, former GNSF member, and have played a both naval sims. After couple of years I'm back on the bridge, focused primary at the SH 5 and TWOS mod. Still have to learn much more but I'm enjoing the game as never before.

This is actually my third return. Not because I quit the game but because I had to dump my old machine due to getting a big dose of wine and upgraded to a desktop. Time elapsed and now I have SH5 reloaded and ready for more.

I am a software developer and work as a contractor for the Department of Defense.

New to this entire community but I've lurked a few days and I already love it.
Played SH4 when I was younger but 5 really seems to work for me. big time history buff and ww2 is my main interest.
