When I saw the threads about getting seasick from the mod, I thought it was just a bit of overenthusiasm and hyperbole. Then after supper, I settled down with the room darkened and the sound turned up. When I went to the deck (f4) and looked at the screen for awhile, I did start to get a bit nauseous and dizzy, and I had to go back below.

Something's wrong! I can't see any new threads on the GWX beta tester forum! The top says there are 16 new ones but I can't see any! I know I'm logged in...

Yeah, I've alerted the Kpt personally - he's at work atm, but will attend to this as soon as he can log in. It seems P_Funk's permissions have not been set or aren't sticking.

Well the guys over at GW HQ have certainly outdone themselves this time around..i think they can retire after GWX ( you wish eh guys:rotfl:)
This is going to be the bench mark for along time to come....i dont think SH4 and at least a couple of patches for it wont even come close to GWX.

I think someone jokingly called this Silent Hunter 3,5, and I totally understand why.

I am playing at 1024x768 at the moment, with 8xAA and 16xAF. It looks like nothing I`ve seen before with this game.

The performance is improved too.

Stock SH3
Stock SH3 + TGW = SH3,5
Stock SH3 + GWX = SH3,99:rotfl:

Whenever I see mention of GWX, a song comes to mind....
