We can see them fine, just can't see what's keeping the coffee going...

Glad to hear you're all OK there at your homestead. It'd be nice to get a "fershure fersertinn" report from Navigator857 and Jeffg (and everyone else that was in the path) that they're OK...

I noticed that the storm did not make the big U-Turn it was supposed to have done, and that it and Nicki didn't get together for a Bermuda vacation...

It sounds like you'll have plenty of firewood for the long, hard winter ahead...

And right after I got home I found the electricity already on and cable, Internet and TV came back minutes ago. Wow! What an interruption!:o

Welcome back from exile, boss. :D

Are there any steaks in the freezer?...

Rockin Robbins 10-11-16 09:17 AM

Absolutely! :Kaleun_Cheers: For the first time I use one of the Kaleun abominations!

Anybody heard from CapnScurvy lately? His last post in our thread was 9/24.

propbeanie 10-11-16 05:40 PM

Somewhere in his last three or four posts he mentioned getting ready to go out of the country for a bit... can't remember his time frame, or if he even mentioned it. Also don't know if he's on the lamb, or doing somethin' top-secret, or just on holiday ( which is the impression I got). Maybe he's gone to bonnie Scotland - Coldingham, Berwickshire even, to look up m' family tree for me! .??

Where's Jeff-Groves been? Besides having a time of it with contractors - or, could it be 'without' contractors?

CUBS WIN!!! - CUBS WIN!!! - CUBS WIN!!! Sorry San Francisco!

We now return you to your regularly irregular FotRS UE thread...

Edit: Finally found it cdrsubron7, back on page 143
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...postcount=2145

But he said he'd be "off the grid" for a week. Been a pinch longer.

I'm alive an well....I think!

I've been over the North border, will again with the wife in another couple of weeks.

I'd love to go to Scotland in the future......my Dads family tree is from the Kilbirnie, Ayrshire region. Scottish Lowlanders like yourself.

I'll need to catch up on what's needed to be done with FOTRS Ultimate. Any issues that need attention?

propbeanie 10-12-16 11:41 AM

Oh Canada, oh Canada... eh? Been quite a while since I was in the Northern Country - in fact, you didn't need a visa then... Did you do any fishing?

You've not missed much here, other than be sure and read

Nothing quite like a hurricane to temporarily take part of your team off-line. We have had issues with Names and Types in the Campaign & Mission layers, but we're getting there. Glad you're back.

Jeff-Groves 10-12-16 11:47 AM

I'm alive. Just got home from an emergency call out job.
Nice thing about those is the money!!

I'm smarter now also.
I spent several nights in a Holiday In Express!

Status report is that Jeff and propbeanie are looking at trashed ships, getting the junk files out, getting them to play nice with the mission editor and the game. This CapnScurvy guy is getting sensors to make sense.

Basically, Jeff-Groves has custody of the game to get the errors out because if the ships don't work it doesn't matter much what they do. Capn, your work is entirely separate from that as it has to do with sub sensors.

The combo of CapnScury's sensors and the Jeff/propbeanie error squishing expedition will be boiled in the cauldron into v0.3 beta. We also may include some cdrsubron7 mission tweaks, but that remains to be seen. Anybody have other things that need to be a part of the next version.

There's a thread for that over at the Black Hole and the file dump at Area 51.
