He must been a very unpopular person.

Probably the most unpopular in the north east at this present time.

He will be a huge improvement to the defence, which is very much needed. As I have pointed out before. Don't know if he has the possibility to "overview" the goal area While defending it

Next is a midfield player or two . With same ability.

A couple of strikers would also be a bonus.

With the little knowledge I have I would say the strikers you have today is good. It's the midfield who in both offensiv and defensiv play is failing.
The strikers does not always get the help they need, nor do the defence.
On the other hand
It's good to have some extra strikers to use in case one of them get banned for a match or so.

not far off the mark

If you can't score a goal you'll never win a game regardless of who the opposition are.

I expected them to win this match against Cambridge United-Not with lots of goal that is-but with one or two goal.

I know they have some problem in the offensive play, but I didn't realize it was so bad.

You are correct TOON need a few good striker on the team.

Losing in the FA Cup is a blessing as it means they can now focus on losing in the PL which is the priority. :O:

There's been a lot said about yesterday's result. Was it a surprise to me, not really as apart from one player we still have exactly the same squad we've had all season who have been very poor and struggling all season at the bottom of the Premier league but let's remember we are only 5 months into this process and it'll take time and patience and things like this will happen. When Man City were taken over they spent £45 million on Robinho and went to Notts Forest in the 3rd round of the Fa Cup and lost 3-0 and there was total uproar but look at them now and how long it took them to get to the level they are at now. I'm not saying we are going to be anywhere near the level of City but my point being it takes time to completely rebuild and there will be a lot of set backs but use City as the benchmark and the time it took them to completely rebuild to be where they are now, there will be set backs that's life but keep the faith things will turn again just be patient and things will get better it just takes patience and time and a lot of hard work but our time will come again.

^ You are fully correct-It's to early to paint the devil on the wall.

Have hope first step is already being made by Newcastle's newcomer the newest Defence player.

He will mean a lot for the defence. A huge upgrade of it

Markus

Could also mean the end to his international career seeing as how very few Newcastle players have played for England in recent years.
