The government have plans to privatize Royal Mail.

Fantastic! I can't wait to pay £17.56 for a 2nd class stamp.

The shares could be worth a dabble in.

Less than £750 at todays rate.

Current ISA interest rate 2%, current inflation rate 2.7%ish

Must be worth a dabble.

eddie 09-13-13 12:53 PM

I'm not saying it isn't worth investing, but seems a bit expensive, for me at least!

Ah right, I see what you mean.

By todays standards though, £750 isn't a great deal....for those who consider themselves to be investors I mean.

The investment houses and pension schemes will go for these shares in a big way because of the initial low outlay when compared to how much the business will cost.

It won't bother him because after all he'll still be getting his own way.

What a load of bull dung!

"proud story" on jobs and the economy while in government.
There are more and more minimum paid jobs created which you can not live off due to the cost of living which is going up and up. And let us not forget dog walking is a job but not a job doing anything to boost the economy but of course it’s counted under their false/twisted figures.

BTW: Thanks for the plastic bag TAX in 2015 arsehole Clegg.

As for economy you are living in a fools dream, printing vast sums of IOU’s, buying your own bonds and not forgetting buying & selling debt!

Quote:

Mr Clegg is due to tell party activists they "can tell people how we took the right decisions in government to make sure interest rates were kept down and to protect people from the economic crises we have seen elsewhere in Europe".
And there still down! You lot said all is well now, only the other day that Ponzi slime ball of a chancellor said so. Well Clegg, Mr Ponzi is in trouble over the Housing bubble he created which will go up in smoke. Are you going to kiss his arse for that...a clegg?

STEED 09-14-13 04:17 PM

Just been watching Dick head Clegg and I was left asking myself this question...Has he turned up to the wrong party conference? :hmmm:

The way he came across was some sort of a Tory. Is Toffboy's little poodle going to sign up for the Tories?
