Hi Peter, here what I done:
I get back to windows 7 and everything works fine, problem disappeard. I know, there was strange things with my resolution, but in windows 7 are the same, and game works correctly. The problem is still not solved, becouse people playing sh5 on win10, and i still dont know what is changing, when I make actualization from win7 to 10. Anyway i can play for now, and thanks for your help. I got another question for you: How can I change name from Oscar Entwickler, becouse even I write anything, and start new career, than save and load in bunker (TWoS 2.0) in ship's log there is still Oscar E., and U-XX number...? The changes you are asking for can all be done in TDW's Options File Editor Viewer from the Ships Journal Tab. http://i64.tinypic.com/nwwt9s.jpg[/ Post #6 TDW's Option File Editor Viewer Installing It Correctly Mods need to be disabled first if using TWOS. If own mod list disable down to TDW's NewUI Main mod. Peter |

(FIXED) Messed up GUI (again)
Hello everyone.
I just came back to SH5 after some time and installed TWOS 2.0 mod (everything was done correctly). When I start the game and go in the hangar for the first time though, my screen is all messed up. It looks like Charts and GUI have some compatibility issue that shows them completely black. I can't even put them off with a key, half of the screen is black and no buttons to disable them are shown. See here ---> http://imgur.com/a/Fws0X I remember having this issue already and at that time I have solved it by changing compatibility to Windows 7/8, but this time it didn't work. I have also installed Directx9 as shown in the FAQ but nothing changed. My game is not the Steam Version. I tried all the possible solutions, still no good. Can you help me? Short specs: Windows 10 2.0ghz processor 8GB Ram FIX: - Migrated Silent Hunter 5 folder from C:\Ubisoft to C:\Program Files - Set both sh5.exe and sh5.exe (shortcut) with admin rights and Windows 7 compatibility. Setting only the shortcut doesn't affect the very .exe |

Apparently it wasn't. I had somehow messed up my folders during installation, when I migrated them back to C:\Program Files it started working again. I will run some tests in the future. |

You need to remember that TWOS looks to install in C:/Ubisoft/Silent Hunter 5, this probably being the most common installation set up. If your game is installed elsewhere then it is important to set the installation path correctly. Check also that your gpu drivers are up to date. Make sure that the settings are also correct. Post #239 Changing The Nvidia GPU Settings Post #240 Changing AMD Radeon GPU Settings Applications should be set to run as administrators. Post #74 Run Both SH5.exe And Ubisoft Game Launcher Application's As Administrator's Sometimes also making a change in the SH5.exe compatibility mode by ticking the box to override high DPI scaling can also make a difference. I currently see a lot of mods that are no longer used
And by the large number of mods I was in doubt which ones I can use without problems in that year of 2017 Can someone please list? |

Depth Charge Volume Adjustment
Been finding that the volume for the depth charges are too loud for my preference. Is there a way to adjust the volume for these without having to change the volume for the rest of the game?
