Can you bring up the command bar and click on the cameras?
If not, try the keyboard short cuts.

I'll go through the Menu ini to find the keyboard stuff.

I did try the keyboard commands but all that happened was that the camera started sinking and nothing would stop it. I've deleted the save file, will try later and see what happens.

That's my quick look for today.

Let's clean up the trash before we add anything new.
File size will go down and possible overhead is removed on systems.

I need to know how each build is being done.
s7rikeback and I can fix the issues as long as they don't get duplicated in further builds.
This is important!!
I'm seeing the same issues in every beta and they should not be a continuous issue.
I can NOT fix issues if you keep putting them back in.

If We do not fix this problem?
I will be forced to back out of the Team.
Beta .26 is nearly as bad as Beta .1 and the SAME things are STILL in there!!
Look at the NCA_Deutschland folder!!

Maybe we should freeze any new builds until all the bugs in the current on have been eliminated. No offense meant here RR, then we should have a discussion about how the next beta should be handled. We definitely need Jeff_Groves help if we're going to succeed in our endeavor to get FOTRSU off the ground. This is just my opinion, BTW.

It's not just the bugs that need fixed.
There is so much trash where it should be eliminated it's just unreal to me!

010 can knock hours off your work load in mere seconds!

It already has eliminated so much huntin' 'n' peckin', it's nowhere near funny. I would definitely appreciate some of your scripts. If you want to post some up on the G Drive, or just PM me, if it allows attachments. I've been looking at some of the scripts in the repository, and the ones I've looked at are ~way~ above my level of understanding. I'm already into two situations where taking the results and using them would be most beneficial, especially when I think of having to do multiple changes in 248 RGGs in one MIS file... yikes...

OK now, you're running with the reduced number of RGG in the SubHunters Mission files right? So there's only the TWO SubHunter groups... ??

Do you remember how much time compression you were or had used? Is there maybe something in that area of the map? Sonar, radar or visual contact?...

Edit: Well, I found another way to lock up the ME, and tight... Anyway, I did get through a bunch of the missions in the Campaign level, loading them and zooming to closer to the Luzon Straits area. There is no JP_CoastalTraffic spawns in the area there. There are no JP_Convoys spawning in there, but there are 10 different groups "routed" to go through there. Some of those convoys have destroyers. No JP_Merchants spawn near there, but there are 15 routes set through there. No destroyers, just Merchant vessel, usually two at a time.There are no JP_TaskForces spawing near there, but 4 routes set through there. No JP_TroopConvoys spawn near there, but 2 paths go nearby... Nothing spawns near the area, especially since the reduction in the SubHunters groups...

OH!!! Did you start a new career? Did you empty your My Documents folder of the old v.25beta Saves?

Radar. Saw the group of destroyers while using the free camera, they were a long way away from my sub's position. Then the game CTDed.

Agreed. Went in and looked at the mis.files for that year and couldn't find anything either.

OK, I've searched through v1.4, 1.5 and the FotRS stuff. Maybe someone else can explain that if we've deleted RGGs from a mis file, that they're possibly still generating? Is there any config info from SH4 on the computer, other than the SH4 game directory, and the My Documents "Save" directory?

I've been looking at all the Campaign files, trying to compare the different versions, looking for a Random Generated Group that has 3 or more destroyers generated, and I can't find any. What I can find is some RGG that have a ship set as "Leader" that may or may NOT spawn... set to 50% or lower in some cases. Could that be what does it?

Jeff, you have the green light to proceed. We seem to be hitting roadblocks that are getting people frustrated and I think it's underlying technical issues that you are best to handle.

Start with any FOTRSU configuration you want, fix it and get me the link. It will become our new v0.3 Beta. So for now, rest of the crew, please stand down except for personal testing (I'll NEVER discourage that.). By all means, continue checking things out. Just keep in mind that some changes may be necessary after Jeff is done.
