How does that sound? If I'm running late I'll call to let you know.

1600? JEEBUS!! :o

I'm planning on being in the pub next door to the hotel 'Old Grey Mare' by noon at the latest so the chances are I'll be sleeping the drink off by the time you lot arrive....I'll probably meet up with you all at breafast on Monday morning.

I said at the latest. It's a 4ish hour drive to York from Ipswhich so If were out of there by 10:30 and don't stop (must look into getting some astronaut nappies), we can get there by 14:30ish at the earliest. If we stop for lunch and a wee, add an hour. If there's traffic or roadworks add who knows how long.

I'm all packed and ready to go so just gotta set the alarm for stupid o'clock so I can get up get the girls ready and head to the airport.

I love the optimism.

Booked the time off work, unofficially as I don't start proper until next monday. I should be there early afternoon...

I've driven in the UK before. Seemed to Nye that most of your motorways were car parks.

Herr-Berbunch 06-25-14 04:38 PM

Seemed to nye?

Somebody's been on the real ale already.

TarJak 06-25-14 06:27 PM

Now that seems a very good idea :D I will look at the train times and hopefully I will be there for around that time.

One sip out of that bottle or Demijohn (hopefully) and the effect it would have on you would mean you wouldn't be allowed to board the bleedin plane :)

TarJak 06-26-14 08:40 AM

True. Rum makes me feel queasy.:Kaleun_Sick:

Jimbuna 06-26-14 08:42 AM

Best ask for a sick bag and a bib as soon as you board the plane then :)

TarJak 06-26-14 08:43 AM

Decided to stick with a pint of ale instead.

Oberon 06-26-14 11:02 AM

Right, so I'll aim to get the 08:53 from Saxmundham which in theory would put us in Ipswich at 9:32. Probably best that we meet at the station, I don't think you'd have to go through too much of the retarded one-way network that the council has set up that way. :yep:
