Got tired of unpopped kernels, my microwave is in storage and I'm not real handy with a stove anyway. I went to Amazon looking for an air popper, but when I saw the reviews for this one I changed my mind. It has a clamp-on top with a simple wooden handcrank, and everybody says "No unpopped kernels". We'll see tonight. :D

Less than twenty bucks, free two-day delivery. I ordered it Tuesday, it came this morning. Can't complain, so far.

No picture or link? :hmmm:

No, you don't deserve one!:O:

Sorry 'bout dat.

I did use it last night. Worked fine, made so much I have leftovers for today and maybe tomorrow. I won't know about unpopped kernels until I reach the bottom of the huge bowl, but it does taste just fine.

That looks cool....put plenty of sugar on mine

frau kaleun 04-14-12 07:18 PM

Sugar on popcorn?

"The horror... the horror...."

:O:

Sending back radio I just ordered as it can't tune in anything without static when I try to use it in my office, which is where I need it to work. Replacing it with something a bit more pricey that I hope will be better.

He was joking...I hope.

Update: The second time I used it I put in a little less. Ended up with a perfect bowl - no burns, not one unpopped kernel, and one of the plastic cogs on the spinner broke.

Emailing the maker now.

No better reason, unless you're in Carotio's line of work :D

I thought you'd got it just for taking better pictures of your collection, die-cast not Carotio's... ;)
