Sorry for the late reply, I've had some PC troubles. :(

All sorted now. About the nomograph... well as I said I won't be using it, and I don't feel that stronly one way or another how it gets implemented, so if you guys would prefer a draggable one I'll do a draggable one.

That said, the first implementation (1.1.5) might be a non-draggable one just to save some time (I had to rebuild my PC and I lost a bit of work that I'd done on the mod) with a draggable one coming in 1.1.6. Hope this is OK.

:o

I've never seen that. Anyone else had this problem? I'm still re-installing stuff right now but as soon as I've got SH3 up and running again I'll check this.

I hope it was nothing serious.
I think I haven't thanked you enough OLC. This is imo the greatest nonsuper-mod ever to grace SH3 community. We THANK YOU again. Now I always smile whenever I hit ships:rock: and along with that the release of endorphin. This mod drugs me out:rotfl: and it's freeeeeeeeeeeee weeeeeeeee. Now I believe the notion the best things in life are free.

I had that problem crop with the gui. I had a conflict with another mod that upgraded the manual. I ended up doing a clean reinstall after having tried many things to undo what ever it was I stuffed up. Cant complain first reinstall ive had to do in a year and ive used many mods...sorry I coudnt be more help...

Although I haven't yet installed this interface mod must have took so much effort to make, I can imagine. I'm speechless but to prise. Thank you so much for the work.

For the nomograph I'd say non-draggable is to go for with more people. But I think if it's not that needed any longer because of the other tools given now, I'd say not included it so we can have clear map.

I've been the NYGM user so I need to see if I can install the mod over. I think I'll install GWX2.0 when it's released and I'm sure the compatible version of this mod will follow shortly :know:

Anyway, this is a super interface mod since FLB sale's work so thanks again!:up:

Having read this post i changed my opinon to no.
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...99&postcount=1
With this fine paper nomograph there is no need to integrate one in the game.

Trefoil 11-26-07 07:18 PM

Many thanks to Friedl9te for the link to the paper nomograph.

I would second his opinion that this works better than any in-game one, draggable or not - much quicker to use & more accurate. I'm going to laminate mine, I think & give it a very pale blue background & a nice Kriegsmarine emblem in the corner & perhaps I'm getting a bit too excited about this......Too many cups of coffee, maybe.

Hope the PC's recovered from the rebuild, OLC - Looking forward to the next version of the 'greatest nonsuper-mod ever' (Nice one, Castout). Perhaps you should rename your GUI, OLC's GNME Mod.:hmm:You can never have too many acronyms IMHO.:yep: Or too many smilies.;)

Fine it certainly is :yep: but what about players who don't have a printer? Or players who just don't like playing with bits of paper lying around the place? I don't think an in-game nomograph will hurt. :know:

Yep, my PC is back to life... actually it has a new life now... the re-install allowed me to implement some performance tweaks I read about recently which only work if you do them right after a fresh install of windows... so it's like I've had a minor hardware upgrade! That's the silver lining, I guess. ;)

The GNME mod  now that might be just a tad too egotistical.

Friedl9te 11-27-07 04:10 AM

My post reflects only my personal opinion, i dont need no more an ingame nomo. But you are right those who have no printer ...

Making a non draggable one saves time for you and those who do not want an ingame nomo can undo the nomo easily. Or maybe you can provide a MicroMod (activate/deacticate nomo)

Anyway, I accept and appreciate what you will give us with your OLCGNSME   .

Is there a reson to have the TDC show-hide swtich functioning TDC autoupdate on-off as well rather than having physically independent switches?

Yes: it's a game limitation. Many things in the mod are compromised because of such limitations. What you see is the best I could do.

Hi, OLC - Did you ever manage to have another look at the local time issue? I had a feeble attempt,:nope: by removing one of your remarks in the menu_1024_768.ini file. The local time & date showed, but in the original location at the centre bottom of the screen - garbling up the text there. I couldn't work out how to move it to a more appropriate place.:-?
