Expect the whole package being released (in a comfy and easy-to-use installer) during this week.

Quick question: Just tried the new models that TLAM Strike posted above. The container ship is wonderful! Is there a way to make props rotate correctly?

Does it rotate way off center?

I'll look in to it but its props arn't really a priority.

Looking quite forward to this!

Well we decided not to hold some of the stuff back for "...The next generation" which means we need to push this back just a little bit. Sorry for the runaround, but we'll be ready next week. I promise.

Hey, good things come to those who wait. Looking foward to it. :yeah:

I wonder if the RA and AT devs will hold back theirs now to see this first. :D

I'm building the installer now ... hopefully at max compression it wont turn out too big ... the fast method ended up being 42MB.

FYI : This installer includes all the models and stuff introduced in the 3.08 as well plus of course the new stuff, hence the big size. I'll upload the installer to the CADC once I'm done and I seriously hope my connection won't crap out on me on this. If I cant upload it from home I'll do it tomorrow from another location ... either way, barring any unforseen complications LwAmi v3.09 should be available latest on saturday.

Excellent, I can't wait to try it. :D

How do Steam users apply this to their copy of DW?

edit: I ran the installer and reached the point where a Dos box opens up but I'm getting a Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library errors when it looks like it's trying to extract stuff.

OneShot 02-10-09 12:42 AM

Probably due to a change in folder layout. Unfortunatly I don't have the steam version otherwise I would try to make a fix. As a workaround, go through the installation till you get the Dos box, then find and copy the temp dir where the install files are located and copy the content of the /mods folder as well as the three jsgme files to your DW root folder. Then run the .bat under filetools.

Err, I just directed the lwami installer to my Dangerous Waters steam directory, it seemed to work. Have I just b0rked my install?
