Most welcome. When you check it out, let me know if it works.

Not really an issue, more me being a curious ignorant, but shouldn't Färöe Island have the same colour as Denmark? On patrol there and suddenly realised Torshaven is red? 7. nov 39 btw.
And re. my 10 meters depth "issue"... it's a matter of sailing the ship! :rotfl: Just a minor change of course so she's not ploughing through the waves, and my CE is happy! Now I can study my maps and if he starts reporting - maybe hours! - later, it's usually because we or the sea has changed direction... Embarresed and yet a bit :smug: And loving the ships movement! Jan (out of issues) |
Unbeleiveably tiny nits
For the anal-retentive among us (is that a dash or a hypen in anal-retentive?):
1) The BDu message dated 1939/11/23, that has to do with tanker warfare in the American zone, mispells, "remain" as "reamin". 2) The mssage dated 1939/11/29 about the English channel is cut off after "English", and the remainder of the message, (including the word "channel") is missing. |

In Flotilla News I or II, it says "Japanese occupied" instead of "Japanese-occupied".
This post and SleazyWombat's input gave me a funny picture in my head featuring an angry reply back to BdU from a submarine telling him to learn how to spell. |
Ok, I had no probs doing Beta Testing. But unfortunately after 4 tries in downloading all files, The MD5 Compare still advises me that none of the bin files match.
All bin files have failed against the MD5 file What on earth am I doing wrong :-? |
Thanks mates to point these mispelling errors.
The messages files uses the old Radiolog proofread messages mod since Rub. This file have hundreds of messages and alot of mispelling and others bugs too. We are now seeing then more frequently because I fix a lot of engine errors on the original GW messages files that break alot of messages. Then, now we really will see the messages. Some of them were already corrected for the good english but others not. Please continue to point them. We will release a final corrected version on the Jan 31 first official cumulative patch for GWX. Rubini. OT: download and install the new Hot FIx: it's really fix a lot of small flaws on the release version. |
Fred might I suggest you d/l the latest version of 'MD5 Compare'...if that fails then all I can suggest is you d/l the files again from my link (sig) as I am niot having any problems

Have all the files in one folder
Open the MD5 compare Click the middle tab " Compare from MD5 file " in 1, point towards the MD5 file thats in this D\L http://files.filefront.com/GWXmd5/;6354946;;/fileinfo.html And it will start to compare |
Just encountered a Pyro Ammunition Ship flying the American flag with 4 manned gun platforms floating above the deck. Unfortunately it was July 41 which made it Neutral but to add to the floating gun platforms, why would they have a Pyro Ammo Ship and Guns if they were Neutral .. just a detail I know but still a :hmm:

Did you use a download manager in filefront ?? I used getright for download GWX files with my 56k dial up connection, but files don´t have the correct name, first i though that 2 parts were corrupted or broken :damn: , for example part 3 ,GWX-1.bin in the manager says X6 file, but i renamed the files until MD5 compare says that the file is Ok. check your files names, and see if are correct. |
