He has done a good job today.

Who would have thought that they could beat Leicester on their own lawn and with 4 goal.

I was surely surprised when it showed 0-4.

Three important points.

That result tells me the players have been slacking all season, relegation can be a great motivator, especially when it would affect their salaries. :O:

Little to no credit will be given to Bruce by the fans because it was his woeful tactics and game management that got us where we were in the first place.

The credit goes to Graeme Jones who was specifically brought in to shore up the pathetic coaching and training setup that existed.

The players are beginning to benefit from his/Jones input and put in performances commensurate with their real potential.

Good grief the Sun Newspaper call this pillock a star and McBurnie's even got the nerve to call himself a striker, :o as for Sheff Utd they got relegated for fielding this useless currant instead of a proper striker, fire whoever was involved in the transfer from Swansea and you might just start getting somewhere. :haha:

Quote:

SHEFFIELD UNITED striker Oli McBurnie faces a potential police probe after a video of him allegedly attacking a man in the street went viral.

He was joint top scorer for the Blades in his first season with six goals, McBurnie has struggled to find form this season, finding the back of the net just once.

My reflection on Premiere League and my team.

There are 20 team in Premiere League one of them has to be last
Does it have to be my team ?

One of them will be number 1
Why can't it be my team ?

Today was the last round in PL.

12th place I had hoped for a place in the top 10....well better than being kicked out of PL. This was what I feared in the beginning.

Liverpool had a poor first half of the second half of the season, so let's call it the third quarter haha. But they buckled down for the run-in and stole third at Leicester's expense. That's massive of course and despite their struggles at times they managed to do just enough. Champion's League is key.

Their title defense fell apart, and well done to City. But with a few good additions and a return of the first choice backline they should be in with a shout next season. Feels like Salah may leave for a new challenge, and the Reds could really use a proper number nine. I like Firmino, he does a lot of the little things well, but I think we could use a more clinical and prolific striker.

West Ham are team of the season for me.

I'm obviously a TOON supporter but imho (and I believe a great many other football fans worldwide) believe those that wanted to create a ESL were motivated by one major ambition and that was pure greed.

As for the Champions League....there is only one Premier League champion, not four.

I think I'll be like many others now and cheer when any of our so-called Super 6 lose a game in the future.

Be interesting to see what the corrupt clowns running the Premier League will do regarding sanctions against said six.

That Masters fellow must be feeling rather foolish lying in his bed at night thinking of how those he allowed to rule him almost destroyed what he rules over...or so he thought.

In the old days only one team from each country could enter the "European Cup" competition, It was the same thing with the "Cup Winners Cup" wasn't it?. With all these money making changes over the years football has gone from bad to worse and, the cheating by these modern players is downright disgusting.

I might watch about 10 or so games a year if they're on the TV and, definitely not a Premier League game if I can help it, I've watched 3 games recently, Man City v Leicester, Chelsea v Leicester and 1 women's game Barcelona v Chelsea, there wasn't that much difference between the males and females to be honest. :haha:

Team of the season is without doubt West Ham United, :salute: most disappointing teams, all those who thought they were bigger than their respective Leagues. :O:

As long as the fans can't get enough of it-there will not be any major changes in CL or EL.

On a friends wall I once wrote that CL should be for the teams who has won their highest series in their country. Oh man the response I got from Barca-fans, English fans a.s.o.
