Not sure Letterboy, I have ROW first then T.M and all seems well, but i saw that others use T.M. first then ROW, just want to make sure i got it all right, anyone no for sure?

this is what i dont like from Row..
not sure, but have been testing with particles.dat with no results.. :cry:

also thinking about deleting that file from the mod, but not sure about what another thing can be wrong if i do this...

I am going to look at and work with it again today.

I might have made the same mistake with it I did with the light houses as Wilheltell sugested.

This time I will test it before I post it. Sorry about that! I skiped over quality control for a quick fix and this is what happens.

Good news
 
The issue with the searchlights is gone and so is the issue with the trees now you can concentrate on the smoke issue :p

Actualy I almost og the smoke perfect for the funnels and factories now

Just checked the new work in the Midway Mission. All I have to do is fine tune it now and will post it with a screen shot to show you it is ready. Give me about 30 minutes and it will be in your hands.

Looks great Leo. I was just playing with the bending smoke. With exception of the smoke which looks like you have a correction in hand, the colors you have are just brilliant!:rock: Really Leo, just great textures!

I darkend and increased the smoke a bit for the funnel smoke on the ships

I read through some other threads how some wanted this and is why it got screwed up a bit. Give me just a few and I will post the download as I am going to change the fire smoke a bit more.

I have a quick question for all of you
 
Would you like to just have the fixed files for the funnel smoke for now or would you like me to finish the enhancments first then get it to you?

I see no reason to wait if you don't mind releasing a "hotfix" for the funnel smoke.

By the way, any leads on the metalic looking water / shader deal?

Dave for me it dosen't matter either way. I still haven't updated to 1.4 yet. I'm just waiting and collecting all the new work until it's all ready, then I'll update. Whatever you think is best. By the way, in case I forget, MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I will inform everyone when all the new work on it is done as well and repost. But the rest of the mod is cool!

okay funnel smoke repaired fully for ships
 
#6. ROW Zone's and Special effect's: If the textures are the Heart of the mod then this is the fun part of the ROW Mod. YOU Should be in port to add this to your game.




#6a ROW_Special_effects_with_Stock_zones_vs_5b Nothing other than ROW textures is needed with this due to fire, smoke and oil slik texture dependancy.
This has been made 1.4 compatable due to changes in the zone's file with patch 1.4 changes. New Smoke effects also included. You can not use the NSM ship's with this! NSM changes the internal compartments of the ships and change the zone's file! 1.4 Compatable Posted on 12/21/07 This includes all slow smoke adjustments from much earlier mod's created. Contains the fix for the funnel smoke problem.


I am not done with this still working on it due to the game handling things differntly that i did not notice before. Error on my part. But the ship funnel smoke effects are now good to go!
