is anyone having an issue with the smoke from the ships drifting down towards the ocean instead of the sky using the ROW special effects. in the first 1.4 version, the smoke from the ships rose high in the sky making it easier to spot ships from a far distance, now it blows or kind of arcs down towards the ocean, even with no wind speed.:cry:

Hi' Leovampire hope you are feeling better, My queston is since i have a ati HD 2900xt ...Will i not be able to injoy your beautiful mods like i should?

Because im getting weird water stuff.... But no worries i will just start uninstalling one at a time till i find what is causesing this.

The ocean problem is either the scene file it's self or a new 1.4 shader file that is affecting my new work. I just have to figure out which is the culprit.

This has been made 1.4 compatable due to changes in the zone's file with patch 1.4 changes. New Smoke effects also included. You can not use the NSM ship's with this! NSM changes the internal compartments of the ships and change the zone's file! 1.4 Compatable Posted on 12/20/07 This includes all slow smoke adjustments from much earlier mod's created.


I know it is a pain but again sugest your in port to add this to your game.

Both FooFighters and Torps told me about it and here is the repaired file.

I try to answer and look into everything about the mod
 
Making sure things look act and work correct in peoples games is important to me so if it is relevent I try to respond to everything Overboard.

I usualy catch things before most do but their are times I still miss stuff so if a picture or post dosn't look or seem right I respond to it ASAP.

D/L the latest 'smoke fix' file but no luck, smoke still doing a curve straight into the water outta the stacks..... Here is what im running just in case I have missed something!

EDIT EDIT EDIT : I just noticed that I am still running ROW Textures with Sun Glare v 4, not 5, I must have deleted the new file and kept the old one in my rush to get it all up to speed..... I'll re d/l the v5 file, put it in and see what happens, be right back.....

Ok, redid my JSGME loadout after I d/l the newer v5 texture file, so JSGME looks as above but with the v5 file instead of 4, but no change, still get the bending smoke, and here's a screenie to prove it.... :cry:

Hello Leo, my smoke is also bending downward towards the sea. I have all the latest ROW installed as well and still get it. One question on order, i use T.M. latest one and RSRDC for T.M. My order is ROW, T.M, RSRDC for T.M., is this correct or should i have T.M first, thanks mate and take care.

Doesn't TM use part of ROW? If so, you would want to install TM first and then ROW so that any of Leo's latest changes will overwrite the files that TM uses.

Maybe the weight of blacksmoke1 and blacksmoke2 in the FastParticleGenerator of the node #funnel_smoke in the particles.dat is set too high ?

maybe they are using an alternative fuel source, since ive busted about 15 tankers this week.:lol:
