Fully working U-Jagd

Hi guys sorry for the double post, but just finished making a new video to show the U-Jagd in operation within Sh3.
Graphics are now finished and the 100sec U-Jagd now resides within the Observation Periscope screen :D.

Hope ye enjoy the video (Besides the poor commentary :k_rofl:).

:D
You should hire Morgan Freeman, do to the narration! :rotfl2:

The interior of new stopwatch is great, sharp, but the external frame is blurry and pixelated

Yup Exterior is from the standard stopwatch magnified x2 to fit the interior.
Still need to do a proper casing graphic for it yet - finished item will look much better.

Overall I'm delighted these were 2 mods (Impact angle Dial and 1/100 U-Jagd) that this time 2 months ago were thought by the community as Impossible to do.
I had even tried to do the U-Jagd in Sh5 about a year ago, what with its scripting potential - I thought it could be done - but gave up after countless attempts.
So I'm very happy that I proved myself wrong - and that with way out of the box thinking finally have what I longed for :woot:.

What do you think is the face colour ok, don't want to have it white due to nighttime use.

Probably the singularly hottest piece of stop-watch ever!

Really beautiful. Kudos mate!

I think it's ok, brightness-wise.

Volk2 09-23-11 10:49 AM

Yeah, true beauty. Maybe a tiny small bit of edge smooth in the upper part of the frame (this small circle) - or maybe not, I don't know. I think I like white interior more.

Message to Makman

Hi Mate,

I was able to sorted thing out and i can now resumed posting and sending mail in my gmail account so i answer about the intro music you send and it is perfectly fitting the atmosphere of the grim reality of U-boot warfare maybe just lower a bit the ping sound because when listening at a reasonable level the ping scorch my ear but for the rest this is a very good choice. :Kaleun_Cheers:
Also just make sure we wont infringe any copyright by using it in mod.

Best regards Hans

Yes you can get pretty good result for speed using the fixed wire method.
Once your using AOB close enough to 90deg to get close to the true length of the ship crossing the graticule.
While the scales are only for 100m, 150M and 300M other ship lengths can be worked out easily on the fly using multiples of values.

Eg if your ship length is 75M then that equals 1/2 of 150M: So just double up the time the target takes and read of the 150M scale.
So if the 75M ship takes 30sec to cross the graticule, the 30sx2=60s read 60sec of 150M scale = 5knts

Haven't tried the new BMS Mod yet (Didn't know they released a new one :))
I've been playing the new DSC A-10C (wow its everything falcon4 is and more - stunning and realistic).
