leo, I've discovered (well, uncovered, knew it was there) new data in S3D. Will release this in a new build soon. I don't know if these few parameters (can) are usefull for your mods, but you may want to try them

PS: the Omni light types are only applicable for interiors

I do know there is color controls for the sun and the sun halo as it is a fix we were working on for the halo color due to the new blue skys in the mod.

As to some changes in the scene file the game will not accept some of them. Like changing the amount of light the sun and moon produces and changing the influance of the fog the game just will not load with them.

skwasjer 12-20-07 06:05 PM

Ok, that's beyond me :smug: I just give you the controls/tools to manipulate the data ;)

If you have more info on parameters that are not available in S3D (and you need to use other tools for) please send me info (PM/mail). I can use any information available.

I'm sleepy, good night...

leovampire 12-20-07 06:14 PM

good night and I will send you the info on the files in a PM

But as a quick referance they are in the Data/ENV file for the game. Environment Colors files.

As to the brightness of the sun and what not they are in the Scene file.

the funny thing is I do not mind the actual proceedier

I enjoy watching it and love it when the die is added because I can feel it run through every part of my body and even tell the doctors where I feel it and when.

But the after math is what s*cks having to stay still for so long without moving to make sure it seals up where they went in.

As to what AVGWarhawk went through well I can't say ya or ney to it. Personaly after all I have gone through it dosn't bther me the idea of it. Rather go through that than have my chest cut open again and have my ribs moving around and grinding together again.

leovampire 12-20-07 08:22 PM

Sorry for the problem guys

I found and fixed the light house light problem. Accidently changed the Weight settings on them. Here is the new download and posted on the main page as well.

#3b ROW_Object_Distance_and_Reflections_Plus_Searchlig hts_vs_5B This file has the distance of view enhanced for all shore based objects in the game to work with the new game engine capabilities and set up. Originaly all objects were set to 1 - 10 in min view distance now they are all at 500 so they can be seen about the same time land comes into full color view or close to it anyways. Also contains new work with search lights both ship and land based as well as light house lighting. Problems with the DC drops have been eliminated. Posted on 12/20/07
1.4 Compatable

LMAO :rotfl:

Okay work is finding and fixing it! :damn: :damn: .

Now to fix the funnel smoke problem with the wind.

I wish they had the same settings as the search lights for ships so I could actualy create the beam effect for night time and the fog layers. Would have to make a sim file just for the light houses alone to make it happen I guess.

But at least the light house light beam now shows up at 4500 yards away where as before it was about 1500 to 2000

I had this done twice for the CT scan. Did they bother to have you sign a waiver stating that some people do not react well to the dye and well, you may not make it through? The stuff gives you a cool feeling and it is amazing how fast it coursed through you body. With in seconds!
