One more fun fact of the day.
Our company decided to invest 200 000 EUR for a paintjob if the CNC machine, to make our company more presentable to the customers, but refuses to cough out 300 EUR to buy us new tools. I'm already bringing my own from home. When we heard the news, well I'm only going to say if sarcasm could be turned into electricity, global power supply would be solved for the next 400 years |
Yes, unfortunately, the infrastructure, stand back which is unfortunate.

http://www.bermaq.ro/en/products/1527/1650.html The old paint will have to be removed, re-protected against corosion, any damages we done to her removed and the machine has all sorts of small little curves you have to sand manually :nope: Plus, our employers are excellent negotiators, they managed to raise the cost of the operation :shifty: |
Looks like a banana boom, :haha:
|
That's the largest I've seen (no doubt there will be bigger for larger craft)....so now I understand :yep:
|
I have seen more in Cadiz, where they build big things, :DL

ah, I also get it. The CNC machine in our little shop at work is about 2x2 meters in size, I didn't know how huge they can be. :o
Guess I'll cancel my journey to Slovenia with a bag full of spray cans then... |
Here's a half milled model of a hull in the forementioned machine
