Another blow for the unemloyed perhaps?

Benefits risk to jobseekers refusing zero-hours contracts
Jobseekers risk losing their benefits if they turn down certain zero-hours contracts without good reason, the government has said.

Until now, people on Jobseeker's Allowance could refuse to accept such jobs without facing penalties.

But the new universal credit system demands that people take up the casual contracts - even though they do not always guarantee work.

How is that going to work as the universal credit system still doesn't work unless you are a young single person who has never made a claim before, is living rent free and is only eligible for one type of benefit?

I really don't know but what is most worrying is the possibility that the government are equally as clueless.

I know that evil bitch Esther McVey is cruel heartless witch, her and that other Tory bastard Adolf Smith are just made for each other.

Hardly at the moment a blow, you just don't apply to them if you can see it in the description. Agency's are all zero hours around here and they tell a pack of lies about the jobs they advertise. Speaking to a person I know about this and they said its all to do with selling your information and I have to agree.

I have noticed this year alarming amount of emails from agency's and job sites I have never heard of or out of my sphere asking all kinds of questions. I mark them as spam so I don't have to read them again. Today in my spam box I have rec'd over 35 emails and probably go to over 40 by tonight.

You can count out most of the first time voters..

Two million young people will not vote because they think politicians care more about pensioners and celebrities

Poll reveals 59% of 17-21-year-olds say they will not vote in 2015
Among those who will, 40% back Labour and just 25% support Tories
Politicians are more interested in big business than young people

First up yes I know the Mail but I have heard young people on TV talk shows or on the radio and they have mentioned the above. Not forgetting the Banking industry has a lobbying group at Westminster and no doubt have changed laws and regulations to suit them.

A very interesting poll, and of those who are going to bother to vote 40% of them will be doing the right thing :yep:

Ed Miliband 'sympathetic' to tougher knife crime sentences

Got to agree with this, and as for Clegg just 364 days before his pathetic party are voted into Oblivion.

One thing crosses my mind the fact you don't need a knife to kill someone. Plenty of items to choose from the toolbox and kitchen draw and not forgetting the shed.

Jimbuna 05-08-14 01:11 PM

Would that make you a weed killer? :)

Yes in the lawn.

Best to use on wet ground and don't forget it will leave a bit of a hole.
