Fire washes the skin off the bone and the sin off the soul. It cleans away the dirt. And my momma didn't raise herself no dirty boy.

Legos are way too expensive! I never really quite understood why...

A Return to Subsim

Haven't Posted in a long while, figured I'd throw this image of me contemplating the deep blue... :hmmm:

I found this website a few years back when I went on a huge Uboat binge, including watching a handful of movies for the first time (Das Boot, Hunt for Red October, etc), but eventually found myself with a copy of Silent Hunter III in my hands. This place was so 'effin helpful in getting it running top notch that I decided it's well worth a $5 yearly contribution. :subsim:

Recently I had kickstarted HMS Marulken, and was extremely ecstatic to see that the one and only Subsim had taken over the funding for the project! There isn't any community that could do it better and I'm stoked to be at least a small part of it! :subsim:

They're a brand on itself and as I've seen in the shop, the majority of the sets are merchandising and a part of that stormtrooper set money went to Disney.
What can you do, hide away and forget about things you like or give them those €2 a year.

Welcome back, Einhanded :salute:
SH3 and IV (also german mod) are still the best imho, now let's see how the Marulken sim develops!

And yes, Legos are much too expensive. They can demand what people are willing to pay for it..
But they have changed from a initial basic construction stones to very special parts that belong to certain models. The new special mechanical constructions don't look right at all to me, Fischer technics is much better for that. But yes i still somehow like it :03:
As a child i had tons of it and built all kinds of stuff, then gave it away to my nephew.
