You're probably in the wrong port. Check the map and see if they sub symbol (your home port) hasn't moved. It's a little strange that no one tells you, however...

Your'e probably in the wrong port. You got designated a new port to dock to. Problem is that BDU doesn't let u know.
If that's not the problem Save & reload.

So no one know how to fix my problem?

Saved the game while disembarked in the u-boat pen, just before purchasing upgrades. I deleted a couple of auto-saves from the previous mission.

When i came back i was unable to re-load the game where i left... either by the last auto-save or my personnal save. So i guess this is the first career loss in shv yet.

Thats the most buggy game i played so far since ''vanilla & stock'' Medieval Total war 2.

I just finished a patrol where I had a similar problem, except it was the escorts from a skirmish just under iceland that followed me all the way to Wilhelmshaven. Funny thing was that I could only tell they were there through sonar readouts and after they bugged me all the way through the north sea I decided to blatantly sink them. Only problem is that whenever I choose full speed ahead and timeskip a few hours, dive to check sonar... they're still the same distance away! Even if I try another direction... or different escort ships.

I bet they have a laugh at it aboard the escorts: "Silly germans! We can lure them away from Great Britain with this cat and mouse game! We will soon win the war, and order a beer at Wilhelmshaven while we're at it."

Worst case, you can uninstall/reinstall. It keeps your saved games unless you tell it to delete them. I've reinstalled about 5 times now for various reasons, none bug related.

I will try reinstalling it as you say. I don't even have a save game as I only got the game today! Some first impression!

I saved a game after the tutorial while chilling out in the sub pen. When I loaded it back up later to start over, my sub was SUNK! Then it sloowwwwllyy surfaced. I had to just stand there and watch from the dock. Didn't seem to bother the conning tower watch one bit to be up to their eyeballs in mucky sub-pen water. No hull damage. Weird!

Any time I speak with my crew, they do this weird thing where they spin back and force for infinity, kinda like a washing machine on agitate. Then when I finish the conversation, the crew member starts doing all these insane hand gestures but not talking. I'm guessing those were the gestures he was supposed to be making to me while we were talking?

That there are glitches of animations of crewman ??

Not of the ones that are there but the ones that are not
i sound confusing i know....
ok i seen a crewan walking through the hatch from radio room to command room, but for a split second. i seen a 3 crewman laying in the torpedo room on the bunkbeds, for a second, I seen 2 crewman doning down the hatch from conning tower they were on the ladders, it was again just for a second.

i think those animations are not fully done thus the devevelopes loking them out so we dont see them, that is why there are such slow FPS rate in the controll room and the rest of the sub, because the crew animations are constantly drawn and erased,
i think the files are all there in the game folder its just not fully functional.

My conclusions are drawn based on my observations. :salute:

Finished the training mission and docked in Kiel. Talked to Officer and watch briefing video. Atl end of animation no Mission selection appear on the map. Going thru the forums there should be 2 mission choices but none are showing up. Can't progress any further. :damn:

Have looked all over the map, No Icons (German Cross) show up on the map.

• Switching directly from gun scope to external view, showed external view with the scope graphics still attached to camera.
• Ditto with periscope view

• Somehow (don't know why) I now have a game session where right-clicking the cursor/aim toggle is not working anymore. Cursor is locked to aim. This seem to be limited to when using the external view. Exiting external view fixed the issue apparantly.

• F1 help, keyboard mapping does not reflect my nationality's real keys (Norwegian keyboard setup).

• Seagulls observed flying at either night time or when its rather dark.

• I put the uboat gently down on the seafloor at about 80m depth, 100% hull integrity. However I noticed a crewmember portrait being colored red, unsure of when that happened. Ordered surfacing directly from seafloor at flank speed (100% hull integrity still), then 2 more crewmembers portraits turned red. Red=Dead?

Anyone else's sub ever randomly exceed ludicrous speed?

I was taking out the Polish vessels in the tutorial, when I noticed my target disappeared. I went up top and noticed the sky was flying by....and the sea too. Soon enough no sea just land. Started getting low battery warnings and the game crashed.

I'm guessing I was over/in/under occupied czechoslovakia at that point.

Maybe you didn´t end up in czech republic but went as far as romania. I think your boat had some kind of homesickness...

This may be another SHV glitch ? ( part of his legs and feet in the metal flooring sure is a glitch though. )

I am getting old ( 74 ) and my eyes are getting worse but their not that bad yet.

There were not ANY black people in WWII Germany U-Boots let alone Germany itself to my knowledge cause ole stupid Hitler did not like them.

Again no offence made to any black person/persons but the pic does look like a black person to me?

I think its just the lighting, as I haven't noticed any black people in my crew.

I think I just hit ludicrous speed while going in for a refit at Heligoland. I was on TC and jumped from outside of the harbor to like a mile inland in an instant. Full Stop! indeed... :DL

The funny thing...It wasn't a TDC error in my game. I was just staring at the screen laughing as my sub flew over dry land. I fell out of the chair when the low battery warnings started going off.

This episode brought the wife down who simply couldn't understand it.
