Heck!! Well I wanted to stay on SH-3 because I liked the XXI and IX that much and I thought I couldn't be interested by US Sub's.
Well after this thread, just pre-ordered my copy of SH-4 right away. :D |

They're actually really easy to see on the carrier deck in the gamespot trailer, only thing is theres explosions all around and they just stand there doing nothing.

Just saw the video. Holy toledo! That carrier went up like it was the 4th of July. Hot diggidy damn! I've thought of something else too, I know we could go on like this forever but; it'd be nice to see a spherical shockwave eminating out from an explosion of that magnitude. Why not throw in a bit of camera shake as the shockwave passes your P.O.V. too? Also, I always liked the 'speed of sound' Mods we saw for SHIII, it just made things that touch more realistic. I know things are getting silly with us asking for the Earth, but finishing touches that could be implemented in the next game maybe? |

What do you mean Morts? I thought that sinking from flooding was kind of an integral part of sinking in the first place?

Even the ships in stock SH3 sank from flooding to some degree.
I'd love to see speed of sound integrated into games. There's nothing cooler than seeing the flash of an explosion, followed by the bang seconds later. Not sure if you couls make this work dynamically in game. I also think sounds of gunfire should carry further. Just being picky really, but for a future game, I want it! |
