Ford Cortina Mklll 2d 1600 ohv HC(Kent)-1972
|
Yeah, the 1600 Cortina was the Brit muscle-car of the 70's (the Capri was for poofs).
|
^Oh yeah! You made my day mate.:haha:
In case of my Cortina-L, the muscles only relied on the sleek coke-bottle style 2-door bodywork, short sporty gear shifter an a race car like dasboard. The engine delivered meager 68 din HP with 0-60mph acceleration ~18 sec. and top speed close 145 km/h.:) But-but, that was not all. The 11-12 liter petrol consumption per 60 miles for a 1600cc engine was nothin but meager. BEAT THAT!:smug: ...Now, let's look for a "My second car" thread. I'm itching to get bragging about it. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...26fd7047e8.jpg |

I remember my 2.8i making a lot of other so-called 'masculine' cars look totally inadequate, especially on the motorway but in all honesty, I never ever took her up to her rated top speed of 140mph....even at a young age I'd like to think I had more sense than some speed kings. |
My first car that I have bought is the Renault Kwid which is special among small
hatchbacks. https://cdn.autoportal.com/img/new-c...d-8707e8a0.jpg The Renault Kwid is an entry-level car which is very popular among first-time buyers. The vehicle gets a pretty decent engine which is a combination of a sufficient power and good mileage. However, some of the people would definitely have a question that why Kwid holds a special space among small hatchbacks. |
welcome aboard!
