Yes I did. Very suitable. Can these cabinets be fitted with light? Small projecting LED lights would be nice for displaying the models.

Something like this:

Very nice Harriers Jim, and quite a collection of them you have. :yeah: Beautiful birds, rugged and reliable once they'd sorted the early engine problems out. :salute: Will miss them. :yep:

Never considered that tbh because the room is the smallest in the house (about 10' x 8') :hmmm:

I think I would look up some small LED display lighting for the cabinets. The lighting really sets off the collection. :yep:

I will give it serious consideration...my initial thoughts were to train two of the triple cluster ceiling mounted halogen spotlights toward the wall the cabinets will be standing up against.

Probably my only property buying regret...we only planned for the one ankle biter so we purchased a 3 bedroomed (well, two and a box room really). The plan was the smallest room would be made into a den or play room or something of the sort.

Then along came the second ankle biter and for whatever reason we never got around to moving or extending.

I'll always regret that.

Just won a Hawker Hunter from Boscombe Down over on evilBay...pictures when she arrives :sunny:

Gerald 06-11-11 01:02 PM

Jim! How many deliveries, you get to your collection, there appears to be very frequent :DL

Jimbuna 06-11-11 01:41 PM

Current number is 58 (not counting the Hunter) and I can think of 2 more I'd like before focussing on purchasing cabinets to display them in but that is subject to my son moving into his new place of abode.
